In an age where the fragility of marriage increases daily, we seek to support members of our church family who are committed to building healthy, Christ-centered marriages that serve the larger body. If you are thinking about getting engaged, we want to support you along your journey.

If you and your partner are thinking about getting engaged, a great first step is to take the Prepare and Enrich Assessment. This helps you see which foundational areas of marriage you as a couple are already strong in, and those areas where you could use improvement. The assessment costs $75, and Meg or one of our pastors will sit down with you to go over the results. Interested in taking the assessment? Email Meg.

We would also recommend seeing a counselor for pre-marital counseling before you decide to get engaged and definitely during the engagement process. We recommend contacting Healthy Minds NYC or Redeemer Counseling Services to meet with trained therapists.

GETTING MARRIED AT OAKS CHURCH BROOKLYN

If you wish to get married by an Oaks Church pastor and or/get married in our church space, we would love to make that happen! We offer a basic wedding package to our congregants that can also include a variety of add-on options.
