Giving

A Life Marked by Simplicity and Generosity

As followers of Jesus, we want to seek Him first and trust that He will provide for our needs. In the knowledge that everything we have is a gift freely given by God, we can freely share what we have with others.

At Oaks Church Brooklyn, this means being generous with our resources and talents AND knowing that we can ask for assistance when we need it. We can give financially through our Tithes and Offerings, employee matches, and stock options. We can give of our time and talents by meeting needs within the church. And we can ask for financial help by meeting with one of our Generosity Deacons.

We use our congregational giving to set our annual budget. The best way for us to know what to expect in giving is when you set up a recurring gift. By using our giving platform PushPay, you can set up a recurring giving schedule for any amount of money and give weekly, bi-weekly, twice a month or monthly.

You can also use PushPay to give one-time gifts. Text "OAKSBK" to (833) 575-5381. A link will be texted back to you to make your first gift and create an account. From there, you can download the app and manage your giving right from your phone.

You can also give using PayPal or Zelle. You can scan the QR codes here or at the gathering.

Oaks Church Brooklyn’s Fiscal Year runs from September to August.

Does your employer make equal matches to your giving? You can set up your recurring gift there, doubling your gift! Ask your employer for more details.

Do you get bonuses in stock options at your company? You can also make a stock donation! Follow these steps to make a stock donation.

All one-time gifts of cash or check can be given in person at the gathering or mailed to us at the address below.

Thank you for your generosity!
