The Board of Trustees serves the Elder Board in an advisory capacity, preserving the culture and values of Oaks Church Brooklyn, per our bylaws. Patrick serves as a Trustee and Officer, being the President of Oaks Church, and Meg serves as a Trustee and Officer, serving as the Secretary of Oaks Church. These are required in our bylaws to delineate the civil operation and affairs of Oaks Church Brooklyn as a corporation in the State of New York.

The Elder Board is the visionary and executive leadership of Oaks Church, per our Constitution. Patrick and Meg are vocational elders - whoever is in the roles of Lead Pastor, Associate Pastor and Executive Director or Pastor serves on the Elder Board. At this time, our church does not have someone in the role as Associate Pastor.
