Who We Are
Oaks Church Brooklyn is a non-denominational, Jesus-centered community at the intersection of the charismatic and contemplative, in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. We are an elder-led congregation with a Board of Trustees providing external accountability. We believe God is calling us to be a family grounded in prayer, presence, and holiness.
We hold to the essential orthodox Christian beliefs as best expressed in the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed, as well as the Evangelical Statement of Faith. For a detailed look at our beliefs click here.
Who We Are
Our rhythms are the essential ways we respond to the Gospel (Philippians 2:12), order our communal and individual lives to have intimacy with Jesus (John 15:1-8), and a framework for relating, supporting, and refining one another (Ephesians 4:1-3, Hebrews 10:23-24, Proverbs 27:17). Theses rhythms make up our conviction of The Good Way of Jesus, which include:
