Welcome!

Whether a friend invited you or you just moved to the city, we are so glad you’re here.

Oaks Church Brooklyn is a non-denominational church that believes in the authority of the Christian scriptures for our life and practice. An independent church (formerly called TGC Williamsburg) since April, 2018, Oaks Church Brooklyn is led by an elder team and Lead Pastor, Patrick Boatwright. You can find a full list of our staff and elders here.

Sunday Gatherings

We believe that Sunday is an opportunity to experience formative encounter with God. This is by the practices of hearing the Gospel preached, the Scriptures explained and discovering the person of the Holy Spirit.

We worship together at our 10:30 a.m. gathering each Sunday. Doors open at 10:15, and coffee, tea and water is provided. Dress is casual, and children are welcome to stay in the main gathering or join their own spaces. We worship together through music and giving, listening to a sermon, and sharing communion. Prayer is offered at the beginning and end of the gathering. The gathering usually ends at 12 p.m.

The Nest, where our children ages newborn to 3 years, is our onsite nursery. Parents may drop off or stay with their child during the gathering. Our Acorns, children ages 4 through fifth grade, meet at PS 132. Drop off opens at 10:15, and pick up ends at 12:30. Youth, ages sixth grade through senior year, will start meeting soon!
